Xtend Barre™ Combines Pilates and Dance for Amazing Results
The Xtend workout is the premier ballet barre workout – DANCE AND Pilates AMPLIFIED™. Developed from a dance/Pilates background, Xtend offers a unique combination of the strength and safety principles of Pilates with the amazing results of dance.
The Xtend system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from top to bottom and from inside out. Challenges in coordination, rhythm and cardiovascular fitness along with the use of a ballet barre, Xtend ball, yoga strap, and light hand weights make this a dynamic results oriented workout.

Studio 7 is the first certified Xtend participating center in New England and is the exclusive provider of Xtend classes in New England, including the areas north of Boston such as Portsmouth, NH, Rye, NH, Newburyport MA and Dover, NH. Studio 7 founders Joanne Smith and Amy Deguio were certified in 2010 by Xtend founder Andrea Rogers. Amy and Joanne have completed training and test-out guidelines to teach the Xtend Barre™ workout.
