The STOTT PILATES® Method

The STOTT PILATES® Method is considered to be the contemporary approach to the teachings of the late Joseph H. Pilates. STOTT PILATES co-founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent more than a decade refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and effective methods available. This clear and detailed approach forms the basis for STOTT PILATES training and certification programs.  Stott Pilates also makes for an incredibly beneficial women’s workout and fitness plan.  It’s used by rehab and prenatal clients, athletes, celebrities and everyone in between.

The Power Pilates Method

The Power Pilates® method teaches and honors the integrity of the classical system developed by Joseph H. Pilates. Through a fitness-based, systematic, and integrative approach, Power Pilates® focuses first and foremost on strengthening the core of the body before the peripheral parts are addressed. Clients of this fitness class establish a greater awareness and connection to their bodies while utilizing specialized, spring-based resistance equipment. The Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Barrels, Magic Circles, Ped-o-Pul, and Mat all challenge the body with varying degrees of difficulty. The quality of how the exercises are performed outweigh the quantity of repetitions.

Pilatesstick® Method

The Pilatesstick® is the first completely portable pilates system. This apparatus can be used in our private and semiprivate sessions to challenge coordination and control. We spice up your pilates workouts with this innovative and unique body sculpting system. You will experience an added dynamic to many of the traditional pilates exercises along with other functional fitness moves for a balanced and complete workout!
